This is the 12th book in the Dresden series. And when Butcher picks a title there is no fooling around with it. This book marks major changes in the series and has left me wondering what direction the series is going to take.
We start with Harry getting a phone call from Susan saying that their child was abducted by the Red Court vampires. After that statement the action just takes off and if you haven't read the rest of the series then you're going to be totally lost. This book touches on a lot of the events that happened in previous books and has characters in rolls that I'd never thought I'd see them in. It was just a great book.
Though the ending does leave you at one hell of a cliffhanger.
